If it’s a multi-million business why not using a platform that’s is more than ready for scalability and expansion? I would recommend you to look into MAGENTO instead, which is an e-commerce platform tailored to web development professionals, and medium to large online stores.
WooCommerce as a membership/content subscription feature, which is what I need.

I know Sitecore very well too and it was among my initial considerations to recommend it to go along with Magento, if the requirement is a very robust platform for medium to large e-commerce they both tick the checkbox.
