Do these people realize that most businesses require +100k to start? Construction business, plumbing, restaurant, any store...even if you’re starting it in Missouri - you likely need capital in the +$100k range. And getting that $ is step of being a successful business owner.

I think that’s his point. How many people have easy access to that kind of capital to start their own business? He could have lost all his parents money without any real consequences. That’s opportunity most don’t have.

Why does it have to be easy? Starting a business is not easy. It’s a risk that you take because you don’t want to do the conventional thing. And you’ll probably make more from it. But it’s a risk. It’s not easy and it shouldn’t be.
