Politicians who say that no one can become a billionaire without cheating are effectively saying that no company can make $200 million a year in profit without cheating. (A startup making $200m might be worth around $7b, and a founder might own 15% = $1b.)

Don't focus on the number. Focus on the underlying message. People are fed up with a system that allows housing, healthcare, food, etc costs to rise while wages remain virtually stagnant. People are fed up companies no longer see workers and communities as stakeholders.

They would argue that you can only make 7% a year by investing in businesses who exploit their workers and "pay them less then they are worth" because "no business should make a profit because any profit should go to employees"...
