That is not the true story. His wife Susie wanted to move to California and he did not want to get divorced as he still loved her and for financials reasons. Susie kinda introduced him and Astris as she was a waitress at a bar/restaurant and basically she was OK with it.

I do not think that was ever reported or mentioned but she was dating a painter or something while in California. I remember reading this in some of the biograohy books. Maybe it was snowball.
