I’m incredibly interested in the idea of starting companies that you intend to own and grow forever vs selling in 7-15 years after starting. For the people who’ve sold as well as the people who’ve grown businesses over decades, what’s your experience? Any regrets?

I always have/had the idea of hitting a double initially giving you the flexibility/freedom to swing for the fences the next time w/out risking family/partners/lifestyle.
