I’m incredibly interested in the idea of starting companies that you intend to own and grow forever vs selling in 7-15 years after starting. For the people who’ve sold as well as the people who’ve grown businesses over decades, what’s your experience? Any regrets?

My Dad has spent the last 30 years building his commercial printing business. Those guys make more (annuity), work less and make it to every one of their kid's games. Would love to see "lifestyle" biz IRR compared to VC/ PE style businesses in Trends.

Yes. I want to cover it. And when I refer to lifestyle business, I’m talking companies that do huge revenues and created billions in value but just over a different time frame.
