Like starting a blog or podcast or event and having your brand be a big part of it. Would this allow people to be considered an alien of extraordinary ability?

Sam, you literally gave me this idea a few years back when you encouraged me to share my (very different) design approach online, so I did! The story got picked up by Fast Company, TV, blogs, news etc. Just 6 months later I qualified for the extraordinary ability Visa. Crazy!

I know a lot about this. Got mine 12 yrs ago in same category. You’ve to show evidence as expert in an area by being quoted in various sources of influence, publishing articles or research consistently for 3 yrs. The Hustle is one piece of the puzzle. Happy to help others in this

Building this case takes longer than regular application - took me a year. BUT the approval is MUCH shorter - 4 to 5 months, b/c people of special abilities skip the Labor Department. It also requires letters from competing experts, customers and peers. Ain’t easy, but it’s fun!

There’s got to be more to it than that. I’m no immigration expert either but that’s not quite how any of it works.
