Horrible. SF is trying to ruin my buddy’s small, local arcade business because “it furthers gentrifications”. Please share. https://reason.com/2019/11/13/san-francisco-activists-are-trying-to-stop-business-owner-from-converting-his-arcade-repair-shop-into-a-normal-arcade/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf#comments … @joeythecat

I live nearby and I'm sympathetic. But I'm also extremely suspicious that they chose a libertarian rag like Reason to push this. Very, very suspicious.

So I see. And did an excellent job of covering the nuance. Illegal events, conditional use, it’s all there. And sure, that happens. Except.... the Reason piece is junk and it makes me suspicious of these people. I got no power here, but I dislike the gaslighting.

The people involved in a situation do not decide who covers what.

There are direct quotes from the owner in that piece, so that is nonsense. Look, I hope the owners find their way to legality. But a hit piece in Reason tells me these people don’t want to play by the rules all the rest of us in The Mission do.

I am asked to be interviewed by many sites. I do them all. Again, the source doesn’t mean much. It’s the facts. The quote in mission local said they didn’t want young attractive affluent professions in mission.
