people claiming this is a form of abuse are so ignorant. though this is not my tradition, i still recognize its importance in other people’s lives. the child is quickly met with a warm blanket and love. the whole tradition, from what i’ve read, is about love and connection.
Did anyone on this thread say it was abuse? Seems like nearly everyone thinks it is wonderful.
