My biggest fear: flying. Numerous times have been on a plane but asked to be let off right before take off because I didn't wanna be on the flight. Have driven 10+ hours instead of flying. Have some meds to help, but still hate it. People who hate flying: how do you cope?

Does it help if you sit near an exit? Or maybe fly business (more space, less people) on longer flights?

Regarding comfort and control in tight spaces, put yourself on the jiu-jitsu mats for a while (if you're not already familiar). I'm sure that would help take the edge off this cabin panic.
