I respectfully disagree. I work with clients every day who moved here from other cities if not countries, risked stable opportunities, families/friends, incomes, to pursue a dream. I'm married into a family of immigrants (Haiti). I get it. It's a risk, but often it's riskier to stay where they are.

It’s a different type of risk to stay, and it’s a whole new world of risk (literally & metaphorically) to leave everything behind & start anew. Silicon Valley wouldn’t be what it is without immigrants and risk-takers, so let’s not diminish that.
