Seems patronizing to push the blame of addiction into companies. People have choices and just have discipline to stay away from bad things. Do these companies suck? Maybe. But people need to be responsible for their own actions.

Yes. I imagine discipline has gone down as our lives have gotten easier. A person can only control how they behave. We each make choices. People choose to do drugs. They are not forced.
