MailChimp was a side-project for 6 years. Todoist was a side-project for 4 years. Basecamp took 2 years before it was paying their salaries. Maybe the rest of us shouldn't be in such a hurry.
Yes. And Groupon took two years until their first $1b. I think it’s silly to say slow is better. Neither is better. If you wanna go fast, try. If you wanna go slow, great.

I think some level of patience + calm is a positive thing. A lot of business is "gradual and then sudden." It's the accumulation of years of creating, experimentation, and building relationships.
