Austin is great. Why the hell hasn’t everyone in San Francisco moved there yet. Seriously...what are the downsides? What am I missing?

Austin is awesome! We loved living there but now we're on our way to NY for an opportunity for my wife's career. We're going to miss it
Would area in NYC are you moving to? If I could find a good suburb in NYC that even kinda gave me the austin vibe, I'd pounce.

Greenpoint neighborhood in Brooklyn. Very cool area, but definitely doesn't feel like Austin I'll keep my eyes out for one that does and let you know!
