Part of me cringes when people say “be patient”. I don’t want to be patient. I want what I want done fast. Doesn’t mean I’m not willing to do it for years, only care abt short term or am not enjoying the present. Just want to move fast! Life’s short. Be urgent.

Couldn’t agree more! Same reasoning I used when deciding to move across state lines, changed careers, started a family at 26, etc. My thoughts on this is as follows: If I’m going to do something and know it’s what I want, why wait?
