1) @ramit told me something great: the world wants you to be vanilla. They want you to charge next to nothing. To be everything to everyone. Don't fall into that. Also, there's always room for a "best" product. So don't be guilted into charging very little.

How do you deal with a situation where a competitor charges nothing (zero) for a similar product that has say 60% of the features and performs poorly (I am referring to software product)?
