So, I listed the things I was interested in and tried to figure out which industry or product had the best chance to succeed. I listened to a ton of @Mixergy, read loads of @viperchill, lots of biography, and tons and tons of research reports.

Soon, I had a library of interviews and spreadsheets of data that showed how different businesses worked. So, using this, we launched The Hustle. But the plan from the beginning was to grow to 1m daily users then create more products for our audience. So when we were thinking about what to launch, we tried a bunch of different things.

It's called Trends.http://trends.co . Each week we scour the web for data points and interview hard to reach sources. The result is a weekly email with case studies + interviews that deconstruct fast-growing companies and industries as well as a private community to discuss

I see a future where we help loads of people start or grow different businesses with Trends. Eventually, we plan on expanding into specific niches. And one day, investing in the companies and ideas we find.
