I'll never forgive Jo Swinson and the LibDems for refusing to support Labour’s policy of supporting a confirmatory referendum. However, as her stance cost her her seat and reduced the LibDems Parliamentary presence, the price has certainly been paid. Well done.

  2. The government now faces a choice between aligning with existing EU rules, which will allow for more trade. Or regulatory autonomy, which grants the UK national control but makes trade harder. That choice will have consequences.

Joe Biden on why his son Hunter -- who had no experience in Ukraine or in the energy sector -- got an $80,000-per-month board seat with Burisma as father Biden was running US policy in Ukraine: "Cause he's a very bright guy."

Kuenssberg points out to Johnson that he has only a withdrawal agreement not a trade deal and he simply repeats yet again "We have a deal and it's a great deal." He's turning into the Maybot as well as Trump!

It’s important to remember that a lot of the most vitriolic socialist-hating journalists used to be socialists themselves. The terror and anger with which they’ve greeted the revival of the left is often rooted in their own insecurities about having abandoned their principles 1/

Fianna Fáil and Sinn Féin have committed to banning goods from Israel’s settlements in the occupied West Bank if they form a government. Both of their manifestos indicate that they wish to see the Occupied Territories Bill placed on the statute books.

When Labour said we would nationalise our railways it was described as pie-in-the-sky Marxist nonsense by a vast majority of the British media. The Tories nationalise one little bit and it suddenly becomes necessary and a demonstration of strong leadership. 2020 Britain.
