It's not insane, it's disgusting. And the richest are desperately trying to avoid paying their fair share of tax. It's no coincidence that the EU Anti-Tax Avoidance directive comes in in 2019.
That’s years of neo liberal policies for you. And we wonder why British society is so broken. Come to places I work and see the extremes of poverty and trying to make a difference against a backdrop of this level of inequality :(

My eyes might not be what they were but it also looks like the poor are getting poorer too. Look how the rich spend their money too. Nothing that helps the poorest earn a living.
