If one chooses not to have close personal contact with a visibly Asian person wearing a surgical mask. Or go to the Pacific Mall. Or visit a restaurant on Dundas. Does that make them racist? Or just concerned for their own health?

Someone wearing a surgical mask is probably more worried about getting sick from you and there are Chinese Canadians running stores/restaurants who haven't been in contact with China recently. In other words, you can be both racist and concerned for your own health.

I think the
@liberal_party and@JustinTrudeau need to work on the spread of the virus and I think we need to stop worrying about ppls feelings at the moment. Their is absolutely no medical screening being done at our airports, this in my opinion is a joke. -
I know people who landed in Canada recently (not from China) and they said that there was absolutely nothing done to screen them or any other travellers. There's no telling who is infected since the incubation period is 14 days

My son in law is of south korean descent and so far no one has said or done anything towards him regarding this. Thank goodness!
