They are humans. That has been answered by science. Whether they are a person is a question for the philosophers.
Well, you’re asking me to defend a position that I don’t hold, but I do respect and understand where they’re coming from. 1st, our government is willing, and does have programs, to take care of children. Ethically they simply don’t believe immaturity justifies “murder“.

Those programs do not cover enough to provide a stable life and are constantly being cut or threatened to be cut. Also, if that’s their take they are ignoring a large sector of those who actually get abortions and their reasons to do so. It seems more hypocritical than ethical.

Most of these people would also argue for more personal responsibility and better choices... who are they not thinking of and where’s the hypocrisy?
