Any #GameMakerStudio folks familiar wth using depth testing? (ie d3d_set_hidden()). Toying with turning stuff on and off but not seeing any changes :o
um... i'm still at the stage where I don't know how to do that, either with the zbuffer or anything

Gonna retract what I said about the zbuffer (Haven't looked at a d3d manual in ages, sorry) d3d_set_hidden and overruling logic depth with d3d_set_depth should do what you're after.
