Any #GameMakerStudio folks familiar wth using depth testing? (ie d3d_set_hidden()). Toying with turning stuff on and off but not seeing any changes :o
I would like to have depth testing and render things front to back so occluded stuff isn’t shown. That’s my goal :|

Ah right. I don't think GM's (Or the D3D9?) implementation is that great. Since you're going front->back you've already got the zbuffer on your side and setting hidden probably won't help much.

um... i'm still at the stage where I don't know how to do that, either with the zbuffer or anything
