yeah i think you're gonna lose something but you can probably get pretty close. you'll likely lose starting neutral > forward jump

but they were standing still in the first place so how much did they really want to jump forward in that case? :P

i haven't played your game enough to know if this is blasphemous, but have you thought about adding a jump squat state?

you'd have to expand on that, idk what that is. but i must emphasize wandersong is not designed for "good players" heh :p

a jump squat is a set number of frames after you press jump where you are crouched and grounded before the jump triggers.

oh! yeah, i used to have this but it bothered some people. but those people were def not the target demo. i like this!!
