I think it would be too dangerous, as people might jump by accident due to the imprecision of sticks.

yeah like does walk speed or air accel increase with the stick further in? or do you just have a threshold then it counts as down?

okay that makes it a little harder. maybe try halfing the range while singing? then do some logic for diagonal flicks.

i say halfing the range but not exactly. try having it so you can be close to all the way down while jumping.
