I just had to do a crazy refactor of the npc system that involved writing a mini command parser to check conditions... and it worked 1st try

to be more specif, for those curious, characters now record when you've seen all their dialogue for a given part of the game + stop talking

but most characters have lots of different conversations for different scenes and scenarios, so they have to know the exact conditions...

so that once you've come to a part of the game where they have new text, they become available to converse again... it's complicated...

there's also like 100 characters so far each with unique code to decide all these things, so... ...complicated...
