ahaha yeah the gameplay took me a while to get used to, but in the 1st game the story outweighs that way more
everyone said the 2nd one was better! lol. w/ story i was getting annoyed at word count + iffy gender stuff...

ah, yeah, tbh it's been a really long time since I've played any Paper Mario, but I definitely liked 1st one better. BUT

the gameplay is super similar so if the controls bother you it MIGHT not be your thing. Which is also ok! <3
