I can happily ignore the "because Microsoft realised they'd been sold an expensive dead duck" snark because I've lived in games long enough.

That's all *waves hands* whatever *sits down again*

But it's the implicit suggestion that without one person, the whole thing has to fall apart. Their creativity kept everything going.
