Also as much as we all love genre busting games, it seems like almost all games fit comfortably in an existing genre. Nature of the medium?
@psysal don't think this would be fair unless "genres" were emotional experience rather than mechanical (ie "platformer" can be ANYthing)

@theBanov I realized at some point, so much creatively is about sorting yourself out from expectations/validation. Awards complicate that. -
