The financials surrounding Kickstarters are increasingly weird, btw. Starting to think running a Kickstarter after an EA launch might work.

The problem is, basically: how do you avoid effectively stealing launch day sales from yourself. Since that is, by and large, what KS does.
@glassbottommeg why on earth would I give money to your kickstarter if I can buy and play the game on EA now instead? :/

@theBanov That's the problem. But the alternative means you transfer a lot of Steam sales to KS, which hurts your promo chances on Steam. -
