I put these together after finishing all the story scenes as a way to reflect on the characters and assert that I felt good/genuine about who they were and their arcs through the game before passing the final text on to localization. it was a fun exercise

I think creating playlists as we develop characters and stories is such a wonderful way of fleshing out certain aspects of the world. it helps keeping things consistent by letting us see our own work from an outsider's perspective, based on how we interpret the songs ourselves!
not to mention sometimes a song might have a line that doesn't quite match the story but COULD, which then contributes to where the plot is going in the first place!! it's such a neat thing for creators to do, I can't help but smile knowing you're the kind of nerd who does it too
