Just because folks play a game in an afternoon or two doesn't mean the game's impact ends there. I finished Celeste and Wandersong a while ago but I still think about them on the daily. The work you all put in them sticks with people, sometimes for life.

well... ...I booted up wandersong on my switch while in the hospital, scared out of my mind not knowing what was even wrong with me. That game helped me deal with that fear, I'd say that was more than just a couple nice afternoons.

You do so much more than just provide a couple nice afternoons! The secret area at the end of Wandersong inspired me to make and release my own game. The real effect of art isn't the time spent interacting with it, it's what you take away from it that stays with you for years.
