Why do people call themselves solo devs when they work with musicians or sound designers?

Yeah I agree. I think any game dev worth their weight in salt knows how critical music/sound is in any game. Just turn off all the sound for a game and play it. Not nearly as engaging. I'd argue that sound design is more important than graphics. But maybe I'm a mad man.

I'm guessing because devs think of the roles in a different way (like the game engine, which is mandatory for the game, and the music, which can be enjoyed separately from the game and isn't technically mandatory)?
