I think you'd see a lot more attention paid to it if the timing of release was different. around now most time is blocked out for big-name news. though if not for the guarantee + resulting pressure to release within a timeframe, no indie games would be releasing right now, so

kinda want to theorycraft about how these deals impact devs' press opportunities but i don't really know. i like reading about indie games so it's kinda sad if true.
