yea i dunno. usually around now is just not considered a good time. https://www.polygon.com/gaming has 5+ stories on pokemon (and 1 about manifold garden...)
I think you'd see a lot more attention paid to it if the timing of release was different. around now most time is blocked out for big-name news. though if not for the guarantee + resulting pressure to release within a timeframe, no indie games would be releasing right now, so
