it's a real nice sentiment but after all the build with how beautiful the mermaids are and how everything else in that scene is played like a series of comedic disappointments (from them not remembering the captain to them not wanting to come back) it does read like a bad joke
Thanks for explaining...! This helps give perspective, I was confused why people took it that way. Didn’t cross my mind that someone would think that was a joke, but for something so sensitive I should have been more careful w/ how tone was set. Sorry :( won’t repeat that mistake
