Please tell me if you know of any 3/4-view, top-down platformer games that have nice-feeling jumping and sure-footed positioning. For some reason I can't think of any besides, like, the Mario 3D World games???

Oh yeah, that’s one! I know I’ve played more, buuuut it’s maybe not that common, and maybe for good reason?

I think it’s just an unusual combo. If your game is strictly about jumping it’s not an ideal camera. But it works if your game needs that angle for other reasons.
