Very cool! Wandersong is on my wishlist! :) RE: this engine - If you dont mind - I had an idea for a game where the combo mechanic would add different elements to a track as you used specific moves ( Ex: Punch adds a baseline, kicks add cymbals, etc). Could this be used for that?

yep, totally! you'd have to make all the assets/music, but this would make it pretty easy to time sounds with the music or add tracks to the music as the game state changes.

Excited to check this out! Question: Is it possible to use this to detect when a beat/note plays in a song, not just the BPM? I have actions I would like to perform on certain beats.

yep, it does a LOT with that! you enter the BPM of your music and it uses that info to tell you every time a beat, half-beat or new measure happens.
