For those of you who need clarification, it was taken place on May 30th around 10pm in Erie, PA. Girl/woman/she, whatever noun you wish to call her. My word of choice at the time should have nothing to do with main point of this video.

For those of you who still need proof of this happening last night: AGAIN, the point of this post was the police officer taking unnecessary action against a defenseless human being. If she was in the wrong, other actions could have been done.pic.twitter.com/GwYKzz5v8v

@ProjectLincoln You need to harvest all these police brutality videos being shown these past few days & make a video showing what trump has done to make our country an unsafe 3rd world country. This is reprehensible! -

1/ Today, the Houston Chronicle ran this editorial image. How true it is. Many people, mostly those not affected by police bias, were able to turn a peaceful protest into everything it was not about, to the point that this athlete was blackballed from the NFL.

It will take some monumental show of commitment by civic leaders to adress racism within the same ranks of law enforcement that are being called out to quell the protests that they helped precipitate.

Now, at that moment, the other officers should have grabbed the cop who kicked the girl, put him in cuffs and taken him to jail. Instead, they just ignored what he did. THIS is why people are rioting.

Agreed. Even if it were true, the “few bad apples” theory, the great many enablers provide cover and therefore perpetuate it. As a civilian, you can be arrested for being an accessory to a crime (during or after). Why aren’t members of law enforcement held to this same standard?

So, whatever happened to professionalism. These cops are losing their minds. We can't do stuff like this in our jobs. Clearly that girl was no threat to the police standing around her, and yet one of them felt the need to kick her. I've seen countless videos like this.

If they were professionals America wouldnt be going through this. The fact that they act like this too often and the majority makes excuses for it or denies it is why we are at this point. Colin Kaepernick tried to tell folk before it got to this point.
