If by any chance there are any young people following me who aren't sure about voting, please just do it and go with your gut. You know what you need to know. Politics isn't more complicated than it appears to be.
I write this because I didn't vote when I first had the opportunity to do so because I felt like I didn't understand it enough. I actually thought it'd be bad to do so. But there ain't that much to understand! And it's pretty clear cut.
Thanks for this. And you're so so so right. Politics feels so complicated, but most of it boils down to whether you like social policies and how you feel about foreign policy (and honestly, few adults in my life know anything about foreign policy either)

Honestly, I don't think politics should be taken so lightly. Mainly because you have to be informed of things a little deep in your country such as: "economy, foreign policy, social, state policies, etc." But in the end if you want to vote, just do it
