A listener was outraged & said we were pushing an anti-rich, anti-hunting agenda with "The Most Dangerous Game" on Fictional. The "won't someone think of the millionaires who want to hunt people" take is one that I never thought would find our inbox but here we are.

The Scoundrel topic this week is George Remus. Someone named a bourbon brand after him and brand's site's timeline is...choosy... - 1925: George was released from prison for bootlegging - SOME OTHER STUFF HAPPENED DONT WORRY ABOUT IT - 1952: George died

For the night crowd: and I worked w/ Kast Media to make a new podcast about bizarre, real-life villains from history! The first 2 eps feature a seemingly unkillable man & a death ray (kind of!) If you like our other stuff, you'll LOVE this

Me in 2007 playing Guitar Hero: I look so cool doing this. I definitely won't look back in 15 years and think this thing looks like a tiny Fisher Price baby guitar.

Everyone dunking on Frank Herbert for writing a sci-fi character named Duncan Idaho should realize that Dune 4 is one long philosophical monologue from a God Emperor sandworm to thousands of Duncan Idahos. Mistakes were made, guys.

I would make a joke that 20 yrs is a likely timeline for Fictional coming back based on my track record, but we have 2 months of scripts written. Trying to bring it back and have it be a regular thing for once

I loved the but I’ve read the book 5 times. I feel like it would be a constant struggle to figure out what’s going on to someone coming in cold, though.

Read "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" to our son. That book has a weird value system.

The drake meme but with Willy Wonka's head. He's opposed to gum chewing but pretty excited about slavery.

Our son asked about the Monkey King and I was SO EXCITED to tell him about the Journey to the West. He was confused but waited until I finished to ask, “but...when does he fight Godzilla?” Yeah, he was asking about King Kong....

Plot twist: is the name of their exclusive podcast. There’s no villain or fights in this series, just two buds building a business together in the digital age.
