Upgraded from VMWare Workstation Pro 12.1.0 to 12.1.1 on Fedora 23 and now 'vmware' silently does nothing. Doesn't even open its X windows.
By now I should know better than to upgrade VMWare Workstation Pro ever, even for point releases that are supposed to just fix bugs.

Today sure went downhill fast, since I count on VMWare Workstation to let me get real shit done. I hate important software that breaks hard.

My VMWare Workstation issue turned out to be that 12.1.1 is still not compatible with Fedora 23 & my old workaround fell off in the upgrade.
