@thatcks Something akin to "beadm list | egrep 'R|N|NR'" but in convenient command-option form?
I wish #Illumos 'beadm list' had the option for easily script-parseable output for eg 'current BE' and 'next active BE' and so on.

@kebesays Yeah. You can get the info out of 'beadm list' but it requires extra processing and isn't a stable interface.
