@thatcks can you expand on that? they seem pretty darn similar to me, but i'm a casual user.
It's interesting how my interests and attitudes on Mercurial and Git have completely flipped. I now actively want to be using git, not hg.

@rone git grep by itself is amazing for fishing through other people's big codebases to find stuff, and Mercurial has no equivalent. -
@thatcks that's pretty amazing. It strikes me as a relatively easy feature to add. -
@rone In theory it's just 'grep -r ....', but git somehow makes it clearly faster than 'grep -r'.
