I know it's crazy, but I'm increasingly tempted to rebuild my office workstation with everything except / and swap in ZFS with #zfsonlinux.

@thatcks Try FreeBSD with a ZFS root filesystem. Live a bit! (Disclaimer: only using that for NFS, not X.)

@devbeard I have a pile of reasons I'm not enthused about FreeBSD, especially as a desktop with X and so on. So that's not really an option.
