Today's brass gong goes to Fedora 20 for failing to boot when the software RAID array for my LVM volume (of non-system fses) lost a disk.

@jgoldschrafe I had GRUB but Fedora 20 refused to bring up the software RAID array and so couldn't mount filesystems and fell over thud.
