Ah. All of my SELinux issues with F20 were apparently because my laptop needed 'restorecon -R /'. Why? Who knows. But it all works now.
Fedora 20 triggers a SELinux alert every time I ssh in to my F20 machine that can't be silenced with audit2allow. Golf claps all around.
