Question: I’m trying to support a young adult who has been newly diagnosed with ADHD and is worried she is going to fail her college program. Any studying with ADHD suggestions, friends?

Yeah man. I wasn’t diagnosed until well after finishing uni (looking back I still don’t know how I did it), but the only way I found I could get things done was to A) get out of the house… coffee shop, library, whatever and B) noise cancelling headphones.

Take handwritten notes in class. Spread out review and study time so you can do a bit at a time. Test yourself to study - don’t just reread. I have ADHD and a Master’s degree in Education. She can do this! At least she has the advantage of knowing.
