It honestly feels like war zone nursing. 
stay strong, we can only do what we can do.
2 days into my ICU redeployment, and everywhere I turn around, there’s patients crammed together in tiny care spaces, ventilators and monitors constantly alarming, half the patients are proned, almost nobody is getting better. This is a f*ing war zone.

What gets to me is... leaving what feels like a war zone and then business as usual elsewhere. Either we're in a state of emergency. or not. Pick a lane.

Currently my family member is hospitalized in LA for a non-COVID19 related medical issue. She’s in an overflow room with 14 other patients divided by curtains. She’s grateful so is calling it a “party room” & is extremely thankful to every overworked HCW helping care for her.pic.twitter.com/MiPXs5SPHd
