Don't forget AB has to match the Canadian Tax Payers portion, so double whammy on the Albertans that don't have kids, or have chosen to stay home and raise them. Nobody's leaving AB for cheaper daycare. That statement is idiotic.
I don’t have kids and I 100% support subsidized daycare… daycare/elder care is infrastructure. It gets people to work, same as roads do. Just because I don’t take that road to work, doesn’t make it any less needed.
